Las Vegas TRIathlon: race details
The one and only Long course Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquabike is happening at Lake Mead, featuring iconic views of the lake that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
Large bright buoys will guide you through a safe and professionally monitored swim course, followed by a challenging bike course though the hilly landscape of the desert, finishing with a run along the historic River Mountain Loop trail.
Las Vegas Tri will host the 2023 Nevada Age Group, Club and High School State Championships

Olympic Triathlon
1500m swim / 24.8 mile bike / 6.2 mile run
This challenging, hilly course will provide stunning views of Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and is a perfect training race if you are training for longer distances.
Sprint Triathlon
750m swim / 12.4 mile bike / 3.1 mile run
If you are new to triathlon, this is the distance for you! Compete in the fastest event offered, with the majority of participants racing in this distance!
Long Course Triathlon
1.2m swim / 48.4 mile bike / 15k run
Challenge yourself with our longest distance event.
Long Course Aquabike
1.2m swim / 48.4 mile bike
A new option that was added in 2018, the Aquabike is great for those with injuries that prevent them from running. Or maybe you want a better chance at winning your age group? This is a great training race if you are training for a longer distance and need to log miles in the water and on the bike.
Sprint Duathlon
3.1 mile run / 12.4 mile bike / 3.1 mile run
The land athlete that loves to run and bike, this is for you! We encourage the ladies to try a duathlon, as we are looking to fill all age groups or awards this year!
Multi-sport Relays
2-3 person teams can compete together to complete the Olympic Triathlon Relay, Sprint Triathlon Relay or Sprint Duathlon Relay
